Jurassic Quest comes to Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI (KBSI)-  Millions of years ago, dinosaurs roamed the earth with their long necks, feathered, scaly skin, and large, dangerous teeth.

This weekend, they’ve found their way to Cape Girardeau, stomping their way into the show-me-center.

I am fortunate to get to see these creatures first hand and up close, maybe a little too close for comfort.

Don’t worry though, I survived and I get to tell you all about it.

My tour guide’s Jay and Aliesa led me through the jungle maze of extinct dinosaurs.

As you walk through the interactive exhibit there are live shows, hands-on activities, rides and of course, treats.

Jay, a Jurassic Quest Tour Guide tells us,

“We don’t have a time machine but we do have Jurassic Quest! Make sure you come down and check this out. We have a lot of dinosaurs, not just land dinosaurs we’re the only one that has ancient ocean dinosaurs too. We have baby dinosaurs, rideable dinosaurs, walk on, rideable dinosaurs, dinosaurs that will come out and eat you! I mean meet you! They’ll meet you. It’ll be fine. You guys will be fine. You should come down.”

The exhibit holds many various types of dinosaurs and is a must-see event for kids and adults.

Jurassic Quest guests say it is so cool to see the dinosaurs, and a great time for family.
