Juvenile faces charges for property damage

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – On October 21, 2024 around 10:45 pm officers with the Cape Girardeau Police Department responded to the 800 block of Casquin  after they received a call about property damage.

After arrival they talked with the victim that says a juvenile suspect had thrown eggs at the residence, spray painted the home, and spray painted the residence along with a vehicle. The victim estimated the damages to be about $2,000.

Officers located the juvenile at her residence.

The juvenile was questioned but per the instruction of the juvenile officer was released to her parents with restrictions.
