Juvenile facing charges after credit card number stolen

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A juvenile faces charges after a Fancy Farm area resident had unauthorized charges on her credit card.

A juvenile faces charges of theft of identity, unauthorized access to a computer and fraudulent use of a credit card.

A Fancy Farm area resident reported on August 26 unauthorized charges had occurred in her credit card totaling over $1200.

An investigation revealed that the card numbers used used at at least three Mayfield businesses explaining the unauthorized purchases.

The suspect was tracked to a Chris Drive neighborhood where a juvenile was found.

Sgt. Richard Edwards continues the investigation.
