Juvenile hops fence with stolen weapon at SEMO district fair

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – On Monday September 9 around 5:30 pm officers spotted a juvenile hopping the security fence that surrounds the perimeters of the SEMO District Fair.

Officers quickly located the juvenile and found he had a stolen firearm on him.

Metal detectors, a gun dog, and a security fence was issued for the first time this year at Capes SEMO District Fair to prevent gun violence.

The juvenile was turned over to juvenile authorities.
