Juvenile threatens to shoot up business in Kentucky

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – A juvenile allegedly told other employees he worked with not to show up to work tomorrow because he was going to shoot up the business they worked at.

According to the Murray Police Department on October 10, 2024, around 9:14pm they responded to a local business in regard to an employee making threats to bring a gun to work and use it on the business.

Officers located the juvenile employee and began investigating.

After investigation they found the juvenile had told other employees not to come into work because he was going to show up to the business the next day and “shoot the place up”.

The juvenile was arrested and faces charges of Terroristic Threatening in the 2nd degree.

The juvenile was taken to the McCracken County Detention Center.
