K9 assists and alerts towards narcotics; Methamphetamine arrest made
MARION, Ill., (KBSI) — A traffic stop in Marion led to the arrest of Ann M. Bryant on methamphetamine-related charges.
Williamson County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted the stop on August 13 at 2124 hours near the intersection of Carbon and Deyoung Street.
K9 Roxy was deployed for a free-air sniff of the vehicle, resulting in a positive alert for narcotics.
A search of the vehicle revealed Bryant was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Bryant was cited for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The driver, Richard E. Bryant, was cited for failure to signal and illegal transportation of alcohol.
Ann M. Bryant was transported to the Williamson County Jail.
