Kelly School District offers support to community after tornado

BENTON, Mo., (KBSI) – Kelly School District is gearing up to support its community in the aftermath of a recent tornado.

Students return to campus on Wednesday for end-of-year activities, and the district will provide hot meals and food packs for pickup. Those in need can call the district office between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. to arrange for a meal or food box.

Additionally, the Lady Hawks Basketball team will host a clothing drive on Friday, May 23, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the multipurpose gym. The event is open to anyone affected by the tornado.

School offices will be open daily from May 27 to June 19 for summer school, and the district encourages community members to reach out if they need assistance.
