Kelly School District teacher faces sexual contact with student charges

SCOTT COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – A teacher with the Scott County R-4 “Kelly” School District is accused of having sexual relations with a student.
Lindsey Limbaugh faces two counts of sexual contact with a student, a class E felony.
On Monday, November 6, a detective with the School County Sheriff’s Office began investigating.
Limbaugh told Kelly Schools Superintendent Dr. Brad Kolwyck on Monday, November 6 around 7 a.m. that in May 2023 she had a sexual relationship with a student, according to court documents.
During a recorded statement at the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, Limbaugh told authorities she had a sexual relationship. She first contacted the student through TikTok while she was intoxicated at a Lil Wayne concert in April 2023, according to the probable cause statement.
They messaged back and forth and met, according to court documents. She told authorities they met at least four times to have sexual relations, one of them during a school field trip, according to the probable cause statement.
Limbaugh is listed as the high school special education teacher on the school’s website.
