Kennett man facing drug charges after traffic stop near Advance
ADVANCE, Mo. (KBSI) – A Kennett man faces drug charges after a traffic stop in Advance.
Lee Roy Foley III, 38, faces charges of trafficking drugs or attempt 1st degree Class A felony and possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana Class D felony.
Stoddard County Deputy Ryan Vincent conducted a traffic stop on Foley on State Highway 25 near Advance for an equipment violation on Friday, Nov. 18.
During the traffic stop Foley was found to be in possession of approximately five pounds of marijuana, two pounds of methamphetamine, two chocolate bars containing “magic mushrooms” and pills which were determined to be a controlled substance.
Foley was arrested and booked into the Stoddard County Jail. He was being held with no bond.
