Kennett man killed in Dunklin County crash

DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — A Kennett man was killed and another man was injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Dunklin County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 5:35 p.m. Aug. 11 on Route EE, about 4 miles north of Kennett.
The patrol reported a 2021 Nissan Altima was traveling north when it ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
A 52-year-old Kennett man who was a passenger in the vehicle suffered fatal injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:51 p.m.
The driver, a 50-year-old Clarkton man, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
The vehicle sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
The crash marked Troop E’s 36th traffic fatality of 2026.
