Kentucky Advisory Council to meet on gifted and talented education

KENTUCKY, (KBSI) — The State Advisory Council for Gifted and Talented Education will meet on Feb. 13 from 9-11 a.m. ET at the Kentucky Department of Education building, 300 Sower Blvd., Conference Room 516.
The meeting will also be accessible virtually through Microsoft Teams, and a livestream will be available on the KDE Media Portal.
The council’s purpose is to provide recommendations on services for gifted and talented students in Kentucky’s education system. The agenda includes:
— Review of meeting norms and duties
— Introduction of members and roll call
— Approval of minutes
— State gifted education update
— Discussion of council priorities and recommendations
— Opportunities for advanced learners
— Closing remarks
