Kentucky Commonwealth’s Attorney killed in single-vehicle crash

CLINTON, Ky., (KBSI) — A single-vehicle collision in Hickman County claimed the life of 1st Circuit Commonwealth’s Attorney Mike Stacy, Kentucky State Police said.
The crash occurred near the 3000 block of US-51 in Clinton at 3:21 p.m. CT. Stacy, 68, of Kevil, was traveling northbound when his 2018 Infinity Q50 left the roadway and struck a tree.
Stacy was pronounced dead at the scene. Passenger Michael “Bo” Stacy II, 30, of Cunningham, was transported to an out-of-state hospital and is in stable condition. Both occupants wore seat belts.
The investigation is ongoing.
