Kentucky Gov.; one dead from hypothermia in Whitley County

FRANKFORT, Ky., (KBSI) — Gov. Andy Beshear said the state has confirmed one death related to hypothermia in Whitley County.

Beshear said a 72-year-old woman died due to hypothermia. He asked Kentuckians to keep the woman’s family in their thoughts and prayers.

The death comes amid cold winter conditions across the region.
