Kentucky Governor closes all state buildings after state of emergency has been declared in 19 counties

KENTUCKY(KBSI) -Multiple counties have declared a state of emergency in Kentucky.

According to Kentucky’s Governor Andy Beshear a total of 19 counties and 17 cities have declared states of emergency at this time.

Those numbers will increase as the storm continues.

Beshear shares that they are working with local governments to ensure resources get to those who need them.

Additionally due to incelement weather conditions all Kentucky state office buildings are closed tomorrow Monday, January 6.

Executive branches will continue to run to provide essential services.
