Kentucky governor signs health care bill into law

(KBSI) – Today, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear signed a bill into law expanding health care services throughout the Commonwealth.

House Bill 75 aims to help hospitals, especially those in rural area, meet the needs of their patients by providing nearly $1.8 billion in Medicaid funding for outpatient hospital services.

Beshear says the bill ensures access to health care for Kentuckians.

“No one should have to chose between getting the healthcare they need and putting food on the table,” he said.
