Kentucky man arrested after police say he was intoxicated and living inside someone else’s storage facility

MAYFIELD, Ky. (KBSI) – The Mayfield Police Department says they are adding extra patrol around a local storage facility after locating a man living inside the facility.

According to the department on Tuesday, May 26th, an Officer with the Mayfield Police Department was conducting extra patrol at a storage facility unit located on East Broadway in Mayfeild. One of the doors was found to be unsecured, and a person could be heard moving around inside.

The Officer located 48-year-old William Huntley inside. After investigation it was found that Huntley had been staying inside the storage unit was under the influence of alcohol. After speaking with the storage unit manager and learning who rented the unit and whose property was inside, Huntley was placed under arrest for Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place.

Huntley was transported to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center and later taken to the McCracken County Jail.
