Kentucky man arrested, charged with robbery and assault

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — Authorities arrested a man accused of assaulting and robbing another man at a local residence.

Mayfield police responded to the scene on Jan. 15, where they found the victim injured and bleeding. The victim told officers he was attacked by Chance Hargrove, who allegedly stole his wallet.

The victim suffered facial fractures in the assault. Officers and detectives gathered evidence and spoke with witnesses throughout the day.

Hargrove was located by the Graves County Sheriff’s Office later that evening. Mayfield police interviewed him and subsequently arrested him on charges of first-degree robbery and second-degree assault.

Hargrove was lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
