Kentucky man arrested in multi-agency investigation into counterfeit pills and firearms

FULTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A multi-agency investigation has led to the arrest of Tyler Wilson, a Hickman, Kentucky resident, on various charges including possession of counterfeit pills and firearms.

The investigation, conducted by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Hickman Police Department, ATF, Homeland Security Investigations, US Postal Inspection Service, and DEA, began several months ago.

On March 11, 2025, US Postal Inspection Service obtained a search warrant for two USPS packages addressed to Wilson, containing a substantial quantity of suspected counterfeit Adderall pills.

Upon Wilson’s arrival at the post office, law enforcement found a firearm in plain view inside his vehicle. Wilson is prohibited from possessing firearms due to prior felony convictions, including a 2021 conviction for first-degree unlawful imprisonment and assault.

A search warrant executed at Wilson’s residence led to the seizure of additional counterfeit pills, fentanyl, Xanax, crystal methamphetamine, large sums of cash, and firearm accessories.

Wilson was taken into custody and transported to the McCracken County Detention Center, where he will remain in federal custody pending further proceedings. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
