Kentucky man arrested on drug trafficking charges

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A traffic stop on Highway 94E at Clayton Road led to the arrest of a Hardin, Kentucky man on drug trafficking charges.

On April 1, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., deputies stopped Michael W. Colson, 58, and found him in possession of 2.5 grams of methamphetamine.

Colson was arrested and lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center on charges including:

Trafficking controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (Class D felony)
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Traffic offenses
