Kentucky man arrested on drug, weapons charges in Calloway County

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A traffic stop early Thursday led to the arrest of a Murray, Kentucky man on drug and weapons charges.

Deputies stopped a vehicle on Irvin Cobb Road shortly after midnight and found the driver, Bryce C. Stone, 27, in possession of illegal drugs, including methamphetamine and marijuana, and a handgun.

Stone was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic offenses. The presence of the handgun elevated the drug charge to a Class C felony.

Stone was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
