Kentucky senator discharged from hospital

FRANKFORT, Ky. (KBSI) – Today, Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell was discharged from the hospital after undergoing treatment for a concussion and a broken rib.

McConnell entered the hospital last Wednesday after falling at a D.C. hotel.

The Senate Minority Leader’s spokesman said the 81-year-old will undergo physical therapy at an in-patient rehab center before he returns home.

McConnell thanked his doctors and said he appreciated the prayers and well-wishes he received.
