Kentucky Senators mourn passing of Commonwealth’s Attorney Mike Stacy

FRANKFORT, Ky., (KBSI) — State Sens. Jason Howell and Danny Carroll issued a joint statement Tuesday on the passing of 1st Circuit Commonwealth’s Attorney Mike Stacy:

“Mike Stacy was a passionate advocate for the people of the River Counties, a steady and respected voice for justice and a dedicated public servant.

His commitment to the law and the people he served will be remembered, and his legacy will continue to shape the region.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Dawn, his son, Bo, and the entire Stacy family during this difficult time.

We join the community in mourning Mike’s passing and honoring the life of a man who spent his career standing up for others.”

Howell and Carroll represent Kentucky’s westernmost Senate districts, which include Ballard, Carlisle, Fulton and Hickman counties.
