Kentucky State Police remind motorists of proactive patrols

HENDERSON, Ky., (KBSI) — The Kentucky State Police is reminding drivers of its proactive measures to ensure safety on the road.

The agency conducts roadside safety checkpoints and saturates areas with high safety concerns through regular patrols.

The checkpoints aim to promote safety, deter lawbreakers and focus on issues like impaired driving, vehicle equipment deficiencies and licensing.

The Kentucky State Police serves several counties, including Henderson, Daviess, Union, McLean, Ohio and Hancock.

Citizens can contribute to highway safety by reporting impaired drivers or criminal activity confidentially through a toll-free hotline at 1-800-222-5555 or online through the KSP Crime Tip Form.
