Kentucky State Police trooper treated for injuries after traffic accident on winter roadways

HART COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – The Kentucky State Police announced that one of their troopers were hit on I-65 in Heart County.
The trooper is receiving medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
The Kentucky State Police released this statement on Facebook saying,
“Our trooper was hit on I-65 in Hart County. He is receiving medical treatment for non life threatening injuries. This is why we are asking you TO STAY HOME and avoid travel. #WinterStormBlair is dangerous – please heed warnings and do NOT travel today”
The Kentucky State Police is encouraging drivers “do NOT travel today,” as the winter weather continues to make its way through.
