CRITTENDEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A Kuttawa man was arrested Friday after authorities said he brandished a knife at a property owner during a trespassing complaint.

The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office said deputies received a call at approximately 2:15 p.m. Feb. 20 regarding a trespassing incident off Green Road. A neighbor reported seeing a man on a friend’s property and told deputies she witnessed him urinating in the open. The witness yelled at the man to leave and contacted the property owner.

According to authorities, the property owner arrived and saw the man walking along Green Road. When she asked if he had been trespassing on her property, the man became angry, pulled a knife from his waistband and brandished it at her.

The woman fled and contacted the sheriff’s office.

Deputies obtained photographs of the suspect and later located him at a residence off KY 810 South. He was identified as Brian C. Goodson, 42, of Kuttawa. A knife matching the victim’s description was recovered at the residence.
