KY 2075/North 4th Street in Murray blocked after milk tanker crashes

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – Crews are working to cleanup after a milk tanker crashed Monday morning in Murray.
Calloway County Emergency Management reports cleanup work is progressing at the site of the milk tanker crash and spill along a section of KY 2075/North 4th Street in Murray.
The crash is along KY 2075/North 4th Street at the 0.16 mile point. The blockage is immediatly north of U.S. 641-Business/Chestnut Street in the Andrus Drive area, according to Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Early reports indicate a loaded milk tanker was making the turn from Chestnut to head north on KY 2075/North 4th Street and lost control on the icy hill. An estimated 3300 gallons of milk is reported spilled at the site.
The road is expected to be blocked until around 10 a.m.
Drivers can detour via U.S. 641-Business/East Chestnut Street and U.S. 641 North/North 12th Street.
