KY 70 reopened in Livingston County after downed power lines

TILINE, Ky. (KBSI) –

PADUCAH, Ky. (December 22, 2023)   Livingston County 911 Dispatch reports KY70/Tiline Road has reopened.

A section of KY 70/Tiline Road reopened in the Tiline community in Livingston County.

KY 70 was blocked near the Tiline community in Livingston County at the 9 to 10 mile marker on Friday, December 22.

Livingston County 911 Dispatch reports an incident has blocked a section of KY 70/Tiline Road.

Something happened involving a piece of farm equipment that resulted in downed power lines. The power lines reportedly started a number of field fires along the road, according the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

KY 70 was blocked roughly from Crouch Store Road through Tiline to the KY 866/Paradise Road intersection to allow firefighters and utility crews to access the area.
