KY 70 back open in southern Crittenden County after chicken manure spill

CRITTENDEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – KY 70 was blocked in southern Crittenden County due to a chicken manure spill on Thursday.

KY 70 was blocked near the two mile marker between Dycusburg and Frances due to a chicken manure spill near Main Lake Road, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The spill made the roadway slick and hazardous forcing it to be closed.

The KYTC Crittenden County Highway Maintenance Crew responded to clean the road.
