Lilbourn man indicted by a Federal Grand Jury on multiple drug trafficking charges

NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – A man was indicted on the intent to distribute more than 500 grams of Meth.
According to the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Office on December 3rd, 2024, Charles A. Perkins was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury for Possession with the Intent to Distribute over 500 grams of Methamphetamine.
Deputies say over the last several months, law enforcement conducted a joint investigation into drug trafficking activities suspected at a residence in Lilbourn, MO.
Officers with SEMO Drug Task Force were able to put together a case and establish probable cause to obtain a search warrant.
On November 1st, 2024, Officers with SEMO Drug Task Force, New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, New Madrid Police Department, and Portageville Police Department executed two search warrants.
Officers located more than 1.5 pounds (696 grams) of suspected Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Heroine, and Ecstasy during the execution of the warrants.
Charles A. Perkins was arrested during the warrant execution.
Perkins was arrested and is now in the custody of the US Marshals.
