Lindenwood upset #6 SEMO for the first time in program history

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – #6 Southeast Missouri State University (8-2) has their seven game winning streak snapped by Lindenwood (5-6), 24-12 in the Game Ball Brawl on Saturday.
Lindenwood get their first win in program history over the ranked RedHawks, and claimed the rivalry trophy after staying in Cape Girardeau the past two years.
On the day SEMO recorded five sacks and also added an interception, as well.
SEMO will now prepare to host Western Illinois on Senior Day on Nov. 16.
