Livingston County dispatcher receives Life-Saving Award

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A Livingston County dispatcher has been recognized for actions officials say helped save a life.

Dispatcher Jason Hubbard was presented with a Life-Saving Award in recognition of his dedication and service during an emergency.

The Livingston County Office of Emergency Management highlighted the critical role dispatchers play in emergency response, including answering calls, remaining calm under pressure, gathering information and sending appropriate resources.

Officials said Hubbard’s actions made a difference when it mattered most.

“Jason’s actions made a difference when it mattered most, and this award is a well-deserved recognition of his dedication and service,” the agency said.
