Livingston County man arrested on drug, terroristic threatening charges

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A Livingston County man was arrested after deputies responded to reports that he had threatened to burn down property, according to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to a residence on Burna Church Road at approximately 4:15 p.m. June 4 regarding reports involving 34-year-old Kendal Boyd.

During the investigation, deputies located Boyd and determined he was allegedly in possession of illegal narcotics.

Boyd was arrested and charged with third-degree terroristic threatening, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and two counts of second-degree possession of a controlled substance.

He was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing and is being led by Deputy Caleb Kindred.

Boyd is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
