Livingston County reports 95% of property taxes collected ahead of deadline

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Livingston County Sheriff’s Office said more than 95% of 2025 property tax bills have been collected ahead of the April 15 deadline.
Officials said 7,304 tax bills were mailed, with 6,967 paid as of April 9, leaving 326 outstanding.
Sheriff Bobby Davidson said this year’s collection rate is among the highest in recent years and thanked residents for their cooperation.
A drop box is available near the library for those needing to submit payments before the deadline, officials said.
