Livingston County Schools staff recognized in regional educator awards

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Livingston County Schools is recognizing nine staff members nominated for the Ninth Annual Regional Educators Awards and Scholarship Program through West Kentucky Community and Technical College.

District officials said the nominations highlight educators and staff who go above and beyond to support students.

Two staff members were named among the Top 20 honorees in the region: Leigh Ann Choat, assistant principal at Livingston Central High School, who was recognized as a distinguished administrator, and Heather Felan, a bus driver and custodian at Livingston County Middle School, who received recognition for support staff.

School officials said the honors reflect the dedication and impact of staff members across the district.
