Livingston County Sheriff’s Office partners with City of Grand Rivers to enhance public safety

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office has formed a new partnership with the City of Grand Rivers to bolster law enforcement presence and public safety within the city limits.

As part of this agreement, Deputy Greg Moyers will be assigned to patrol Grand Rivers, ensuring a consistent law enforcement presence and faster response times for residents and businesses.

Moyers will focus on crime prevention, traffic enforcement, and community engagement.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment between county and city leaders to provide professional and proactive policing services.

The partnership aims to increase police visibility and strengthen public safety efforts in Grand Rivers.

Grand Rivers Mayor Tom Moodie emphasized the importance of local law enforcement, saying, “Having Deputy Moyers patrolling in Grand Rivers enhances our ability to keep our community safe and respond to concerns more efficiently.”

The new patrol assignment is set to begin on March 7, 2025.
