Lutheran Family and Children’s Services reaffirms commitment to mental health services
ST. LOUIS, Mo., (KBSI) — Lutheran Family and Children’s Services (LFCS) is reaffirming its commitment to providing comprehensive mental health services during National Mental Health Awareness Month.
Observed in May, the month aims to reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues and promote access to resources.
“Mental health is vital to overall well-being,” said Lindsay Jeffries, LFCS Director of Behavioral Health. “We’re committed to supporting those struggling and providing quality mental health care.”
LFCS offers various behavioral health services, including counseling, trauma-informed therapy and support for anxiety and depression.
In 2024, LFCS provided counseling services to 10,454 children and family members, delivering over 30,331 service hours.
