Lyon County honors bicyclist Sean King with roadway dedication

LYON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Officials in Lyon County dedicated the “Sean Robert King Share the Road Memorial Highway” sign Thursday along KY 93 North in honor of Sean King, who was killed while riding his bicycle.

County officials said the memorial is intended to encourage drivers to slow down, stay alert and safely share the road with cyclists, pedestrians and other travelers.

The dedication also honored King’s memory and his impact on the community, family and friends.

Officials said their thoughts remain with the King family.
