The crash was reported around 7:20 a.m. just east of the intersection with Kentucky Highway 564.
Authorities said two concrete mixer trucks traveling in opposite directions collided, causing both drivers to lose control. One truck overturned in a field, while the other overturned into a creek.

The second driver, Jeremiah A. Smith, 48, of Eddyville, Kentucky, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Graves County coroner after his truck was found overturned in a creek.
Emergency crews from multiple agencies responded, including the Cuba and Sedalia fire departments, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Kentucky State Police and Mayfield Fire and EMS. Authorities also assisted with next-of-kin notifications.
Officials said recovery and removal of the trucks took most of the day, and the roadway remained closed as of Monday afternoon.
The crash remains under investigation.
