Madison County firefighters participate in mock disaster drill

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn., (KBSI) — Members of Madison County Fire Rescue took part in a mock disaster drill at Jackson State Community College this week.

The exercise, part of the college’s nursing program, simulated a mass casualty incident to give students hands-on experience with emergency response, decision-making and teamwork.

Fire officials said the training helps bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world situations while allowing crews to work alongside other agencies and strengthen coordination.

The department thanked the college’s nursing program and Dr. Revelle for the opportunity to participate in the annual exercise.
