Major water leak shuts off service to parts of Chaffee

CHAFFEE, Mo., (KBSI) — A major water leak has temporarily shut off water service to parts of Chaffee while crews work to make repairs.
The City of Chaffee said the leak occurred early Thursday near the Southbrook and Sheridan areas.
The outage is affecting the southern part of the city and may include Highway 77 south of Food Giant, Sheridan, Southbrook, Hubbard and Robinhood Circle.
City officials said water service is expected to remain off for several hours while repairs are completed.
