Man accused of trying to provide false urine sample during drug test

CARLISLE COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Bardwell man faces a charge of tampering with physical evidence after sheriff’s deputies say he tried to use a false urine sample.

Michael Arrowood, 48, of Bardwell came to the Carlisle County Court House to meet with his probation and parole officer on February 12.

During the meeting Arrowwood was required to provide a urine sample for a drug screen.

While providing the sample Arrowood was seen wearing an elastic belt next to his skin. Then the belt was removed a plastic container containing a substance consistent with urine was found.

The container had a short tube extending down to his genitalia for the purpose of providing a false urine sample.

Arrowood admitted that he had recently used methamphetamine and would fail the drug test.

He was taken to the Ballard County Jail.
