Man airlifted to hospital after car accident

STE GENEIEVE, MO – (KBSI) – A man was airlifted to the hospital after serious injuries in a car accident on July 5 at 7:45 P.M.

Michael Thompson of Dekalb, IL was traveling North on I-55 and attempted to pass a vehicle on the right shoulder when he lost control of the car. The vehicle traveled off the left side of road hitting cable barriers. Thompson was airlifted to ST. Louis University Hospital with serious injuries.
