Man arrested after evading police in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KBSI) – The Marshall County Drug Task Force and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve an arrest warrant to Shawn Davis’ residence for conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance. While in the Pirates Cove area, Davis was spotted operating a motor vehicle and officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop. He fled from police and into a wooded area in Marshall County and began to take off on foot. The K-9 was deployed and Davis was caught a short time later where he received his indictment.

Davis is charged with the following:

  • Reckless Driving
  • Fleeing and Evading Police 1st degree (vehicle)
  • Fleeing and Evading Police 2nd degree (on foot)
