Man arrested after reported home intrusion on Minter Road

BENTON, Ky., (KBSI) — Deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and officers with the Benton Police Department responded Feb. 23 to a report of an intruder at a residence on Minter Road.
Authorities said a juvenile female who was home alone called 911 after discovering someone inside the home.
When officers arrived, they located Lozie D. Boddie III, 29, hiding in the basement. He was taken into custody without incident, according to law enforcement.
Boddie was charged with second-degree burglary, a Class C felony, and lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
Sheriff Eddie McGuire Hilbrecht commended the juvenile for contacting 911 and said the quick response by deputies and city officers led to the arrest.
