Man arrested for alleged school threat

MARBLE HILL, Mo., (KBSI) — A Gipsy, Missouri, man has been arrested for allegedly making a terrorist threat against a student at Zalma R-V school.

Jared Linan was taken into custody Tuesday after the Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the alleged threat. He was charged Wednesday with one count of terrorist threat in the second degree, a Class E felony.

Linan is being held in the Bollinger County Jail on a $25,000 cash-only bond.

The sheriff’s office and school officials say they believe the threat was isolated and there is no active danger to other students or staff.
