Man arrested for DUI after 2-vehicle collision in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI)— Deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision with injuries near the intersection of New Holt Road and North Friendship Road around 10:20 p.m. Monday.

Dennis Walker, 59, of Melber, Kentucky, was driving a 2023 Toyota 4 Runner eastbound on New Holt Road when the collision occurred with a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze driven by 26-year-old JT Bruce of Mayfield, Kentucky, who was traveling northwest on North Friendship Road.

Walker was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries by Mercy Regional Ambulance Service. Bruce was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and aggravated failure to produce an insurance card.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office received assistance from the Concord Fire Department, Mercy Regional Ambulance, and Speedy’s Auto Repair & Recovery.
