Man arrested in connection to murder of Mischelle Lawless

SCOTT COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) — A federal grand jury has issued a warrant for a suspect in a 1992 murder case, Scott County Prosecuting Attorney Allen Moss said.

Leon P. Lamb is charged with first-degree murder in the killing of Angela Mischelle Lawless, who was found brutally murdered on Nov. 8, 1992.

Following an 18-month investigation, Lamb was arrested in Conway, Arkansas, on Dec. 20, 2024, and is being held without bond.
