Man arrested on child pornography charges

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky., (KBSI) — A 46-year-old man was arrested following a prolonged investigation into the distribution of child pornography in Christian County.

On April 16, 2025, detectives with the Hopkinsville Police Department’s Electronic Crimes Unit, Kentucky State Police Electronic Crimes Branch, Homeland Security Investigations and Christian County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on Powell Road.

Christopher “Chris” Knight was taken into custody and charged with seven counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. Additional charges are pending.
