Man arrested on drug trafficking charges in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Keith Knight, 45, of Benton, Kentucky, was arrested Friday morning by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office on outstanding warrants and drug trafficking charges.
The arrest stemmed from a single-vehicle accident investigated by deputies on Jan. 31, 2025, on Lovelaceville Florence Station Road West. Knight, the driver, was hospitalized for injuries sustained in the crash.
During the investigation, deputies found methamphetamine in the vehicle and additional methamphetamine and a large sum of cash on Knight’s person at the hospital.
After being released from the hospital, Knight was arrested Feb. 7, 2025, at a residence in the 5900 block of Carr Road. Detectives seized marijuana and other items indicative of drug trafficking during a search of the residence.
Knight was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail on charges of trafficking in marijuana, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony probation violations.
