Man arrested on methamphetamine trafficking charges

BALLARD COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Chris Roberts, a fugitive with multiple warrants for trafficking-controlled substance methamphetamine out of Graves County, was arrested Tuesday morning.
Roberts, who had been evading law enforcement since Feb. 14, was taken into custody without incident in Lovelaceville, Ky.
The River Counties Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force received information on Roberts’ possible location Monday evening, leading to his arrest.
During the arrest, task force officers seized 4 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales, baggies and cash believed to be proceeds from illegal narcotics.
Roberts was charged with trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, in addition to serving the active warrants.
He was transported to the Ballard County Jail.
